Where does your data live with RAGSuite Engine?
Documents, search index, history and your account live in the [Rechenzentrum] in Germany. RAGSuite runs the platform itself. For the answers, you choose the language model. For every model you see where it runs. If you pick a model from an external provider, the question and the matching passages go to that provider, not your whole documents. RAGSuite does not train models on your data.

What is RAGSuite Engine?
RAGSuite Engine is the RAGSuite AI platform as a service. RAGSuite runs it for you in a data centre in Germany. You connect your documents and sources, your team asks questions and gets answers with sources. You need no servers of your own and get the full feature set.
Where is our data stored?
Documents, search index, history and accounts live in a data centre in Germany run by RAGSuite. You choose the language model for the answers; for every model you see where it runs. With an external model, only the question and the matching passages go to that provider.
Is AI usage included in the price?
Yes, through credits. Every plan includes a credit pool shared by all users in the workspace: 5,000 in Starter, 25,000 in Business, 65,000 in Premium. With your own API key (BYOK) you pay the same plan price but use no credits. You can see usage at any time in the dashboard.
How does the free trial work?
You create an account and try RAGSuite Engine for 7 days with the full feature set. You need no credit card. During that time you can connect sources and invite your team. Afterwards you choose a plan, or the trial ends at no cost.
How many users is RAGSuite Engine for?
Up to 250 users you book RAGSuite Engine yourself, without talking to sales. For more users, a dedicated instance or running it on your own servers, there is Enterprise. You get Enterprise prices on request, usually within one working day.
Can we move to our own server later?
Yes, that is possible: RAGSuite Engine and self-hosted RAGSuite are the same platform. It can run on your servers as the open-source Community Edition or as Enterprise. We plan with you how your projects and sources move. You decide when the move makes sense.
