Sources for your knowledge engine · in every plan

AI connectors: SharePoint, Confluence, Slack and more.

Connectors bring your data into the RAGSuite Engine: from SharePoint, Confluence, Slack, Google Drive, Notion, Gmail, your website and your files. AI search and the AI chatbot then answer from it, with sources. Connect more tools through MCP and n8n, in the RAGSuite Engine or on your server.

Explained simply

What are AI connectors?

AI connectors link your apps to an AI platform. They read content from sources such as SharePoint or Confluence, split it into passages and store it in a search index. AI search and the AI chatbot use that index and answer with sources.

MCP and n8n

Connect more tools and build RAGSuite into workflows.

Connect

Connect data sources to AI, in four steps.

01

Connect

Store access in your RAGSuite: RAGSuite Engine or your own server.

02

Select

Assign libraries, spaces, folders or channels to a project.

03

Ingest

RAGSuite reads in and shows: ingested, skipped, failed.

04

Keep current

Re-ingest whenever you like; you see the status per source.

Permissions

Who sees what? Projects instead of copied permissions.

Access rights from SharePoint, Confluence and other sources are not carried over automatically today. So you separate content by project: each project has its own sources, settings and widgets. Only add to a project what all its users may see.

In the RAGSuite Engine and Enterprise you also decide which teams and roles can access which project.

MCP

MCP server and client: your knowledge in more tools.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard for exchange between AI tools. RAGSuite is both MCP server and client: other tools query your knowledge, and RAGSuite connects more sources through MCP. Through the API your apps fetch matching passages directly.

Plans

Every AI connector in every plan.

Connectors cost nothing extra: neither per source nor per request. They are included in the free Community Edition just as in the RAGSuite Engine and Enterprise. The paid plans add roles, teams, the full audit log with export and more control, but no extra connectors.

FAQ

Questions about AI connectors and MCP.

Which connectors does RAGSuite have?

RAGSuite connects SharePoint, Confluence, Slack, Google Drive, Notion and Gmail. On top come website crawling at depth 1 to 5, upload of PDF, DOCX and TXT, an MCP server and client, and n8n. Every connector is included in every plan, the free Community Edition too.

Does a connector cost extra?

No. Every connector is included in every plan, also for unlimited projects. There is no price per source and no price per request. The RAGSuite Engine and Enterprise add roles, teams, the full audit log with export and more control, but no extra connectors.

Are permissions carried over from SharePoint?

Not automatically today. So separate content by project: each project has its own sources and settings. Only add to a project what all users of that project may see. In the RAGSuite Engine and Enterprise you also decide which teams can access which project.

What is an MCP server?

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard through which AI tools exchange data. An MCP server provides knowledge or functions to other tools. RAGSuite is both MCP server and client: it shares your knowledge with more tools and connects extra sources through MCP.

Where does the ingested content end up?

In your RAGSuite’s search index: in the RAGSuite Engine in a data centre in Germany, self-hosted on your own servers. The connectors work the same in both cases. Only the question and the matching passages go to the language model, never whole documents; with a local model, self-hosted, everything stays in your network.
