Where does your data go? You decide.
In RAGSuite Engine, documents, search index and history live in a data centre in Germany. Self-hosted, everything stays on your servers, with a local model, nothing leaves your network at all. If you use an external language model, only the question and the matching passages go to that provider. You set this per project. Here is what that looks like self-hosted:

What is a sovereign AI platform?
A sovereign AI platform runs under your control: you decide where it runs, which language model answers and where data goes. RAGSuite is such a platform, in RAGSuite Engine in Germany or on your own server. Every answer names its source in your documents.
What is the difference between RAGSuite Engine and self-hosted?
It is the same platform. In the Cloud, RAGSuite runs it for you in a data centre in Germany: no servers of your own. Self-hosted, it runs on your servers, with a host of your choice or air-gapped. You can start in the Cloud and move to your own server later.
Do our documents leave the building?
Self-hosted: no, documents, search index and history stay on your servers. In the Cloud they live in a data centre in Germany run by RAGSuite. If you use an external language model, only the question and the matching passages go to that provider, never your whole documents.
What does RAGSuite cost?
The Community Edition is free and open source. RAGSuite Engine comes in Starter, Business and Premium plans from €39 a month billed yearly, plus VAT. Enterprise, for your own servers or a dedicated instance, is available on request. You can try Starter free for 7 days, no credit card required.

Yes. RAGSuite is built for teams of any size. With RAGSuite Engine you start without your own IT and with no minimum purchase; up to 250 users you book it yourself. If your team grows or your needs change, you move to Enterprise or to your own server.
