Housing companies manage decades of contracts, regulations and property files, and feel the skills shortage. Questions from tenants and about properties meant long searches in folders and systems. At the same time it was clear: tenant data must not go into a US cloud.

How long a comparable project takes.
Setup itself usually takes only days: provide a server or the cloud, connect sources, set up assistants. Choosing content, agreeing with data protection and, where relevant, the works council, and training the team take longer. Plan a few weeks for that, depending on scope.

Why does the client run RAGSuite on its own servers?
Because tenant data is personal and often sensitive and should not go into a US cloud. On its own servers, documents, search index and histories stay in-house, under the existing data protection agreements. So no new processor had to be brought in for the platform.

Are there figures for the project?
Yes, but we only publish them once the partner has approved them. Until then we describe the result qualitatively: faster answers, a source on every answer and data that stays with the client. In a call we can tell you more about the starting point and the approach.
Does this also work in the RAGSuite Engine?
Yes, if your content allows it. The RAGSuite Engine offers the same features as running it yourself and runs in a data centre in Germany. For particularly sensitive data we recommend running it on your own servers, as in this project. We are happy to advise you on this.
What does a solution like in the case studies cost?
That depends on how you run it. The Community Edition is free; you only pay for servers and the language model. The RAGSuite Engine comes in plans from €39 a month, credits included or with your own API key. The Enterprise Edition is available on request. A partner’s services are agreed separately.
